When he was 14, Jeff Brown bought his first bass which he refused to put down ever since! While growing up in London he was influenced by Deep Purple, Free and Slade. Later, as an experienced musician, he played along lots of rock icons as Ian Gillan (Deep Purple), Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake) and John Coghlan (Status Quo) while providing the bass and background vocals for Wildfire's studio albums "Brute Force And Ignorance" and "Summer Lightning" (both Mausoleum Records) and working together with Statetrooper (featuring Gary Barden (Michael Schenker Group) and Brian Robertson (Thin Lizzy)). After that, Jeff Brown switched to the glam rock band 'Sweet' where he played with its original members Mick Tucker and Andy Scott for 16 years. In 2003, Jeff joined the legendary pop band 'The Tremelos' with whom he still performs live.
Jeff's solo debut album "23 Years" is addressed to classic rock fans regardless of their age. With "23 Years" he goes back to his roots while giving the classic melodic hard rock a contemporary touch. Most of the songs were recorded in the Arsis Studios in Krefeld during which he was supported by several excellent musicians including guitar player Peter Szigeti (Warlock).
