'Versengold' come from the field of fantasy role playing games, but have now made a name for themselves in the medieval scene. Since 2012 the band belongs to the permanent line up of the "Mittelalterlich Phantasie Spectaculum" festival, the largest German medieval event series, which takes place again in 2013 in around 20 German cities - with Versengold, of course!
"Hoerensagen" and "Allgebraeu" are the first two albums by the group (back then with another line up with additional female vocals), which were not available for a couple of years and are now republished due to the large fan demand as "Nostalgie-Editionen".
You can listen to peppy, self-composed songs, performed with flutes, guitars and harmonious, mostly two-part singing. The lyrics are self-written too, they tell humorous stories of past times. Also one or two romantic pieces are on this album, one of them even written in Tolkien's Elvish language 'Sindarin'.
