There is no need to mention anything about Master. Anybody who missed the band based around Paul Speckmann has probably been living under a rock! Founded by Paul Speckmann and Bill Schmidt in Chicago in 1983, it was based on the common activities in the doom metal band war. Their common passion for extreme metal bands such as Slayer or Venom pushed 'Master' towards a stronger direction. Master is thought to be one of the first death metal bands to have ever existed and, next to Death, Possessed and Morbid Angel are the pioneers of death metal. Although Paul Speckmann mentioned that this categorization is not important to him. 1988, he moved to the Czech Republic and continued the story of Master there. "An Epiphany Of Hate" was produced in the Shark Studios in the Czech Republic and will see the light this year. The genius cover artwork for "An Epiphany Of Hate" comes from cover artist Mark Cooper.
