Angra (the goddess of fire in Brazilian mythology) was started 1991 by Andre Matos and Rafael Bittencourt. "Aurora consurgens" was released 2006.
Contrary to the predecessor album "Temple of the Shadows", "Aurora Consurgens" is no concept album, but highlights loosely connected diverse facets of mental disorders instead of - however, the sense for strong, epic productions which is typical for Angra's Power Metal style remains unchanged.
