The grandiose, timeless, glorious power-pop-hard-rock-and-roll band will be successful in three different ways in 2016: Robin Zander and Co. are becoming members of the honourable Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April, along with Deep Purple, Steve Miller and Chicago. At the same time the quartet signed a new contract with the label Big Machine from Nashville - the home of Taylor Swift, Steven Tyler and The Cadillac Three - where on April 1st, their brand new studio album "Bang Zoom Crazy...Hello" will be released, the first album by Cheap Trick since "The Latest" (2009). "We do what we like", they recently said to the magazine The Aquarian. "So this is not like Spinal Tap where suddenly some free jazz comes." Cheap Trick, that would be three songwriters in the band and four great chords, Robin Zander emphasized to the Ultimate Classic Rock Magazine. "That's why this record is so complex."
