Joe Bonamassa releases his new studio album "Blues Of Desperation" on 25.03.2016 . Just like the predecessor "Different Shades Of Blue" from 2014, "Blues Of Desperation" solely includes self-composed material. The Grammy nominated guitarist did not stick to the established blues/rock guidelines, but has redefined himself as well as the genre. Bonamassa did the recording of his 12th studio album in Nashville, where he collaborated with the most talented sound smithery of the city. Bonamassa and his long-time producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, Iron Maiden, Journey) retracted to the Nashville Grand Victor Sound Studios (formerly known as RCA Studio A) for five days. There they recorded eleven sweeping tracks together with the musicians Anton Fig and Greg Morrow (drums), Michael Rhodes (bass), Reese Wynans (keyboards), Lee Thornburg, Paulie Cerra und Mark Douthit (winds) and the background singers Mahalia Barnes, Jade McRae and Juanita Tippins.
