The East German masters of the morbid return with a vengeance & deliver their most mature album with their new and 6th album "Blutbahnen". After the immense succes of the previous studio album "Wundwasser" (#79 in German album charts) and the mini album "Hexenhaus" (#100 in German album charts) and another chart entry at #99 with their side project EISBLUT the huge crowd of fans desperatelly waits for the new opus: the wait is over, BLUTBAHNEN will drive every EISREGEN-maniac insane! After the departure of their long-time violinist 2T (the violin parts on BLUTBAHNEN were done by a session musician) the band is down to a quartet now. The creative minds in the band have recorded an album in Dez. 2006 / Jan. 2007 in the "Klangschmiede E" studio with technician Markus Stock which fulfills highest expectations easily: BLUTBAHNEN is musically variable, lyrically as brutal as expected and controverse topped in a heavy sound which opens all facettes of their sound. EISREGEN have done an album without fillers – songs like the intensive opener "Eisenkreuzkrieger", the lyrically intensive "17 Kerzen am Dom", the balladesc title track or the follow-up to the title track of their 2nd album "Zrück in die Kolonie" to the totally undescribeable "Schneuz den Kasper!" show how much EISREGEN developed both in compostitory and musically fields.
