The legendary Pixies lead by mastermind Black Francis aka Frank Black return with a new album after 20 years!
The Pixies are without doubt one of the most important indie rock bands of the 80's/90's. They paved the way for groups like Nirvana, Radiohead, and Pearl Jam.
"Indie Cindy", their first studio album since "Trompe Le Monde" from 1991, is released by the band-owned label Pixiesmusic (in Europe through [PIAS] Recordings).
The twelve tracks were recorded at the Rockfield Studios in Wales, UK and produced by Gil Norton, who was also on board for "Doolittle", "Bossanove" and "Trompe Le Monde". The album's artwork comes from legendary graphics artist Vaughan Oliver, who was responsible for the artwork of the previous Pixies releases.
