In Bakersfield, California, the band Korn was founded. They released their first album "Korn" in 1994. The band toured with Marilyn Manson, Megadeth and Ozzy Osbourne. The album has sold over a million copies even without radio airplay and support by MTV. A nice success for a US group that saw itself exposed to similar level of fame that the Beatles did in the 60's!
