180g vinyl with inlay in a Gatefold sleeve. "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory" is the fifth studio record by the American prog rockers DREAM THEATER.
Originally released in 1999, it was recorded in the Bear Tracks studios in New York, where the band also recorded their second album "Images And Words" and the EP "A Change Of Seasons".
The album is the follow up of "Metropolis Pt. 1: The Miracle And The Sleeper", a song which appeared on the 1992 album "Images And Words".
It was the first album with Jordan Rudess on the keys. 2012 "Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory" was voted first place of the "Best Prog Albums of All Times" by Rolling Stone magazine and beating established classics "2112" by RUSH and "Close To The Edge" by YES to first place.
