MTV unplugged "Unter Dampf - ohne Strom" | CD | Unheilig

This 2-CD edition includes the entire concert with 22 songs.

At the beginning of October, Unheilig together with a large orchestra and a unique scenery in the Hamburg studio created a breathtaking MTV unplugged album with the title "Unter Dampf - Ohne Strom". At this concert, the "Graf" performed in front of a small selected audience, just using a profile of his previous work from the last 16 years plus an inedit song "Einer von Millionen" which takes the title of the current era.

Just like other MTV unplugged sessions, Unheilig was supported by various featured artists. In the beginning, the "Graf" joined with Alea the humble from Saltatio Mortis and Thomas Linder from Schandmaul with a powerful rock performance. A softer and sentimental focus was added in a beautiful duet with Helene Fischer and Cassandra Steen on this small stage. The musical challenge to do something new with old songs has definitely been mastered. "Unter Dampf - Ohne Strom", an acoustic goodbye presented with moving and intense songs. Songs by Unheilig, in an totally different setting.
