Director Mirko Witzki accompanied the German Metal band ANY GIVEN DAY for three years and documented the beginnings up to impressive final on the main stage of the prestigious Summer Breeze festival. With their version of the Rihanna-hit „Diamonds“ the five German musicians collected a surprising millions of YouTube-clicks. The Germans played for many years in rather unknown bands, they suddenly shot a song into the spotlight of a broad public. Becoming well-known overnight, they started a long journey and didn't just conquer the clubs with their own compositions, but also convinced effectively on the big festival stages. Mirko Witzki looks behnd the scenes and let band members and their environment come to word. He documents the steep road and accompanies the band with the release of their debut „My Longest Way Home“, which could position itself on the amazing number 28 of the German album charts.
