The limited box set edition contains the deluxe CD (digipak + 3 bonus tracks and a comprehensive booklet), a bonus live CD "20 Wahre Jahre - Die Schifffahrt", a 7" picture vinyl as well as a poster, postcards and a sticker (size of the fan box: about 195x195x45mm).

With "QUID PRO QUO" In Extremo have written their own best of and they have respected all the trademarks of their 20-year career. There are purist medieval sounds, hard riffs and rousing melodies. In total there are 4 different foreign languages ​​spoken on the album (Estonian, Welsh, Russian and Latin) and with Hansi Kürsch of Blind Guardian (on "Roter Stern"), Heaven Shall Burn (in "Flaschenteufel") and an original Russian Cossack Choir (in "Roter Stern" & "Schwarzer Raabe") the boys also have 3 exciting guest appearances on the album. With this album IN EXTREMO most impressively underline their status as THE medieval rock pioneers of Germany.
