With "QUID PRO QUO", In Extremo has created its own best-of. They incorporated all trademarks from their 20 year long career. It included puristic medieval sounds, hard riffs, and catchy melodies. In total, four languages can be found on the album (Estonian, Welsh, Russian, and Latin). The guys also brought three exciting guest with Hansi Kürsch from Blind Guardian ("Roter Stern"), Heaven Shall Burn ("Flaschenteufel") and an original Russian Cossack choir ("Roter Stern" & "Schwarzer Rabe"). This album underlines IN EXTREMO's status as THE medieval rock pioneers in Germany.

Apart from the title track "Quid Pro Quo", the output comes with another two nice hits, namely "Störtebeker" and "Sternhagelvoll". "It is complete: QUID PRO QUO is finished and we are very excited for the time coming. Even if we sometimes felt like somebody tries to hinder us from releasing the output (hint: burned down rehearsal room), the little overtime was worth it.
