Before The Dawn, Dawn Of Solace, Black Sun Aeon, Routasielu - multi-instrumentalist Tuomas Saukkonen is a restless exceptional talent and finally presents his next Wolfheart album "Shadow World". Following the impressive predecessor "Winterborn", front man Tuomas and his crew have recorded an extraordinary longplayer again. The atmospheric Death Metal performed by the Finns always leaves room for great melodies and delicate little guitar showpieces. Unlike his predecessor, „Shadow World“ is an entire teamwork for which each of the musicians has recorded his own parts. The band was also involved in songwriting and Lead's guitar player Mika Lammassari contributed his creative input for two songs of the album. "Shadow World" shows all signs of Winter Metal strength that had already been noticeable on Winterborn: unadorned doublebass drum attacks, brutal riffs and Lead's captivating twin guitars combined with Saukkonen's grim growls, well-timed Metal brutality and doomy laments result in a Melodic Death sound that is without any doubt Finnish-branded.
