Bright & Black ft. Toppinen/Järvi/Baltic Sea Phil.

Available on black Vinyl.

A symphony orchestra. Composers from the world of metal. A wild conductor. A truly unique soloist. Attitude and talent. An album and a live show. That is Bright & Black with Eicca Toppinen, Kristjan Järvi, and Baltic Sea Philharmonic.

Metal and orchestral music, two parallel existing worlds, finally collide and a never-before-heard sound emerges. In an unprecedented step, the world of metal merges with the world of the orchestra, with authors rooted in the metal scene composing directly for the orchestra, giving it a completely new set of colors to create a series of new sounds. With a bang. The compositions performed by the Baltic Sea Philharmonic under the direction of Kristjan Järvi and soloist Eicca Toppinen are by Eicca Toppinen (Apocalyptica), Fredrik Åkesson (Opeth), Erik Danielsson (Watain), Nico Elgstrand (Entombed AD), Tomas Haake/Dick Lövgren (Meshuggah), Jacob Hellner, and Kristjan Järvi.

The complete Dolby Atmos production of the album project was recorded in the autumn of 2022 at the studio of Estonian National Radio in heightinn. Produced by Jacob Hellner. Performed by Baltic Sea Philharmonic. Conductor: Kristjan Järvi. Orchestration by Jonny Abraham. Mixed in Stockholm by Jacob Hellner and Stefan Glaumann.
