THE ORDER OF ISRAFEL combines the doom of the early 70's with progressive influences and cleverly included folk elements. Who will be identified as the creator of this impressive sound? Mostly it is guitarist Tom Sutton, ex member of Church Of Misery, and bassist Patrik Andersson Winberg, who is known to insiders from the Doomdogs. Sutton and Andersson Winberg are soulmates and quote Saint Vitus as well as Monster Magnet or Opeth. They present themselves as masters of variety, which peaks in the core title "Promises Made To The Earth" that deals with respect towards mother earth.
