On 15.April 2016 the American singer/guitarist Lita Ford releases her new album "Time Capsule", an uncommon and very special output, which turns back the clock to a time, where down-to-earth rock was still exclusively hand made and without any digital tricks. 'Time Capsule' delivers a retrospection with charismatic vocalists and brilliant instrumentalists, who jam together without a concrete goal. Some shining lights of the record: Billy Sheehan (bass), Rodger Carter (drums), Dave Navarro (mandolin), Jeff Scott Soto (vocals), Rick Nielsen and Robin Zander (choral singing) and Gene Simmons (bass). Lita explains: "In the bathroom of my former island domicile there were oodles of analogue 24-track tapes. On them you could find some of the best tracks, that I have ever recorded. I packed everything into two suitcases and brought it back to America." You have to visually imagine that: Lita Ford with two bulging suitcases on her way from the picturesque Caribbean back to Los Angeles, to revise the analogue tapes. "If you just would have put them into a tape player they probably would have crumbled to pieces. I nervously bit my fingernails and hoped, that nothing would go wrong. Luckily it worked!" "Time Capsule" includes ten energetic songs plus an intro. It is Lita Ford's present to everyone, whose heart pounds for the 80's, when moving singing performances, noisy riffs and growling guitars were just as important as the air you breathe.
