Jethro Tull "Under Wraps: The Unwrapped Edition" forener to af Ian Andersons mest ambitiøse og frygtløse albummer – Jethro Tull-albummet "Under Wraps" fra 1984 og hans solo-debutalbum "Walk Into The Light" fra 1983.



Disse to albummer er af stor betydning i Ian Andersons omfattende værk og markerer et markant brud med den etablerede Jethro Tull-lyd. Anderson, som allerede blev betragtet som en af sin generations mest innovative sangskrivere, satsede på den nyeste teknologi og integrerede synthesizere og trommemaskiner. Dermed bevægede bandet sig tydeligt væk fra sine traditionelle folk-rødder og beviste, at det var i stand til at tilpasse sig det skiftende musiklandskab.



Dette omfattende 5-CD- og Blu-Ray-sæt er kurateret af Ian Anderson og indeholder de to originalalbummer, som er blevet nyremixet af Bruce Soord i to versioner – "2026 Drums"- og "Original Drums"-remixene.
