The Wacken Open Air 2013 had been a hot affair: amazing bands on seven stages, 75.000 fans - and sun, sun, sun. Metal heads from all over the world celebrated this legendary metal party and transformed the small village of Wacken, Germany, into a mecca for the metal scene.
"Live At Wacken 2013" offers recordings from grand master Alice Cooper, Nightwish playing a highly-celebrated set with their new vocalist Floor Jansen, Doro celebrating their 30-year stage jubilee with an amazing show, and Sabaton inviting the audience to sing along in the afternoon heat. At a temperature around 35 degrees celsius, Motörhead played songs like Damage Case', ‘Metropolis' and ‘Over The Top' in a shortened set. Deep Purple did not disappoint the metal heads either - they powered through Wacken with hits like "Lazy".
