With their great album "Semente", the Portuguese 'Sinistro' deliver an album which has never before existed in this form. The wide screen sound has an almost cinematic level, and it contains influences of doom à la My Dying Bride, as well as alternative sounds that remind us of Massive Attack or even David Bowie. Over all the voice of Patrícia Andrade reigns, carrying each song with her emotional performance while almost sounding like a female counterpart to Mike Patton. A blend of doom rock and soundtrack atmosphere just can't sound any more elegant!
